Raft is the scenic survival game where you and your friends have to fight to stay afloat. With sharks hot on your heels, it’s up to you to keep them at bay and survive at sea. But fear not, there are many islands to explore and resources to collect that will help you in your adventure; Advanced crop plots will be key to keeping yourself full.
During Raft it is important to keep track of the consumption of food and water. It’s a survival game after all, so a few hours without it and you’ll come to an untimely end. Advanced crops are the ideal way to harvest crops, as not only do they look a little nicer, but they also help your crops grow faster; Nobody will go hungry with these!

How to create an advanced crop plot in Raft
In order to craft an Advanced Crop Plot, you must first have a blueprint. There are three blueprints for small, medium, and large advanced cultivation fields, so you can pick one or craft all three around your raft.

You can buy the blueprints in Tier 2 of the Trading Post, with each blueprint costing 1x Trash Cubes and 6x Trade Coins.
If you still need to reach level 2, all you have to do is sell and buy things in the trading post to increase your reputation. It’s relatively easy to do this by selling unwanted items or catching fish and selling them.
Once all of the blueprints are yours, study them at your research table. For each plot size you will need the following resources:

Extended plot for big harvests
- 12x boards
- 12x nails
- 4x ropes
- 1x screw
Advanced medium crop plot
- 10x boards
- 3x nails
- 4x scrap
Extended Small Crop Plot
- 8x boards
- 3x nails
- 2x ropes
When you are ready to craft the Advanced Crop Plots you will need to collect some additional resources as the ones used at the Research Desk will be consumed. As simple as that!
How to use an advanced crop plot in Raft

When it comes to using advanced crop plots in Raft, they really don’t need to be used any differently than your usual crop plots.
All you have to do is select the seed of your choice and make sure it’s equipped and simply interact with the Advanced Crop Plot. This will plant the seed, and all you have to do after that is water your crops! Easy enough right?
Well, you should note that gulls are often a fan of your crops, so be prepared to scare them off as well.
