The Family Trip

The Family Trip is the mildest of our whitewater trips. On this two-hour trip, expect splashes and excitement from our great class I-III rapids. Cool off in our Habitat pool, the lazy river section where guests get in river position and the natural current of the Chattahoochee River pulls them downstream. This trip allows you to relax while enjoying the river and spectacular wildlife, including bald eagles, osprey, blue herons, and turtles. This family whitewater rafting trip is recommended for young children, older guests, and those with a fear of water. Our focus is on the river and beauty of our urban environment and the guides do not paddle back in and ‘surf’ the rapids. Guests must be seven years old or 60 lbs to participate.
